Mori

Jan Gary, class of 2023

Mori explores the effects human society has on the flora and fauna in the Rocky Mountain region. From oil pipelines to poaching and overfishing, increasing threats cause dwindling populations, novel diseases, loss of habitat, spread of fire, and risks of extinction. I invite viewers to ruminate on the irreversible damage done to the fragile mountain and tundra ecosystems and consider how to preserve this place of beauty and refuge.
