Centenary Juried Student Art Competition

Submission Form

Submission Guidelines

Any currently enrolled Centenary student who has completed at least one studio art course at Centenary may apply (all majors welcome). Each student may enter up to three works across four categories: painting, drawing, mixed media, and digital art.

All submitted artworks must be the result of the artist’s own original, manual creative effort. Works that incorporate AI‑generated imagery, textures, or other visual elements beyond standard non-creative utilities (e.g., file resizing, color calibration) are not eligible for submission.

Selection Process

Prior to juror review, the Exhibition Committee will review all entries. All entries must be correct and complete to be considered for review by the juror. The Committee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline any work deemed inappropriate for public display or inconsistent with exhibition guidelines.

The juror will evaluate all submissions and select work for exhibition and award prizes. Consideration may include originality, craft/technical skill, concept, and presentation. The juror is selected from outside the Centenary Faculty and Staff based on their professional expertise in the Art & Visual Culture. This year’s juror is ____.
